Life tables, Canada, provinces and territories: CS84-537E-HTML
Contains life tables comprising life expectancy and related estimates by age and sex for Canada, the provinces and the combined territories for the 1995-1997 and 2000-2002 periods. Detailed estimates (by single year of age) have been produced for Canada and all of the provinces, except PEI. Abridged estimates (by five-year age group) have been produced for PEI and the combined territories (Yukon, Nunavut and the Northwest Territories combined). Life tables for the first year of life have been produced separately, by sex, for Canada as a whole. Also contains an extensive description of the methodology underlying the production of the estimates, including formulae.
