In recent years, public concerns have been raised regarding the potential negative health impacts of radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation emitting devices, such as microwaves and wireless phones. During the course of its study, the Committee held three hearings where it heard from a variety of witnesses, including: government officials, interested stakeholder groups and scientific experts. This report summarizes testimony from these hearings, as well as written submissions received by the Committee. Finally, it also identifies ways in which the federal government could take further action in this area.
