Carbon, nitrogen and sulfer isotopes were analysed from tissue samples of bull kelp collected from 12 sites in Haida Gwaii, British Columbia, The data are expected to serve as a baseline for future nutrient cycling studies in the area, and may help with the evaluation of conservation and management policies for the Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve, National Marine Conservation Area Reserve and rockfish conservation areas (RCAs).
