Life tables, Canada, provinces and territories .: CS84-537E-PDF
This publication contains life tables comprising life expectancy and related estimates by age and sex for Canada, the provinces and the combined territories. Detailed estimates (by single year of age) have been produced for Canada and all the provinces, except PEI. Abridged estimates (by five-year age group) have been produced for PEI and the combined territories (Yukon, Nunavut and the Northwest Territories combined). Life tables for the first year of life have been produced separately, by sex, for Canada as a whole. The publication also contains an extensive description of the methodology underlying the production of the estimates, including formulae.
