Annual report on emissions reductions from federal operations .: M141-9E-PDF

The Government of Canada is taking action to address climate change and is demonstrating leadership by reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions within its own operations. The Federal House in Order (FHIO) initiative formally centralizes the Government of Canada's efforts to monitor, track and reduce its own emissions. Supported by lead departments Environment Canada, Natural Resources Canada and Public Works and Government Services Canada, the initiative specifically targets 11 departments and agencies that together account for an estimated 95 percent of all Government of Canada emissions. This Annual Report on Emissions Reductions From Federal Operations meets the Government of Canada's commitment to report annually on its progress in reducing GHG emissions.
