Public registryEn104-8

The Public Registry system will consist of three levels of information: an electronic database, the Federal Environmental Assessment Index (FEAI); a catalogue of documents relating to federal environmental assessments; the documents. The FEAI, the only level of information available at this time, is the master index to all environmental assessments carried out under the Act. It contains tombstone information, (the who, what, when, where, why) of federal assessments and provides contact names to obtain general information on any particular environmental assessment, and the documents relating to it.... When fully implemented, the FEAI will be comprised of about 100-350 pages of printed materials per month. It will be updated monthly, and will be available without charge, through the DSP in both hard copy and CD-ROM formats.--Publicity flyer
