Patented Medicine Prices Review Board annual report : H78

An independent, quasi-judicial body, Canada’s Patented Medicine Prices Review Board (PMPRB) regulates the prices of prescription and non-prescription patented drugs for human and veterinary use, ensuring that these prices are not excessive. This report includes a review of the PMPRB’s major activities, as well as analyses of the prices of patented medicines and of the price trends of all drugs. It also lists the R&D expenditures reported by patent-holding drug manufacturers.
