This is a report of a focus group held in June, 1997 to discuss issues related to the provision of urban Aboriginal corrections services in Canada. The focus group included representatives of urban Aboriginal service agencies from various major urban centres across Canada, reflecting the wide variety of services available in urban areas. As well, the group included representatives from the Correctional Service Canada (CSC) and the Department of the Solicitor General Canada's Aboriginal Corrections Policy Unit (ACPU).--Executive summary
