Relatively little attention has been given to the impact of outward FDI on the home country (Canada). This paper measures one important: its impact on Canadian exports... We use a gravity model to measure the link between outward Canadian FDI and Canadian exports on a bilateral basis to thirty-five countries over the 1970-96 period."--Introduction.
