In partnership with the Barry Group, a larval survey was conducted on the west coast of Newfoundland from 16 to 18 July 2008 to measure the abundance of fish eggs and larvae sampled with plankton nets. A second objective was to describe the spatial distribution of fish larvae including those from two significant commercial species, capelin and Atlantic herring.
