Aboriginal peoples and electoral reform in Canada / Edited by Robert A. Milen. : Z1-1989/2-41-9E

Study No. 9. The issue dealt with by the four studies contained in this volume is that of collective electoral equality. As a result of geographical dispersion, the Aboriginal "community of interest" is not adequately represented in the House of Commons. The researchers cover major issues regarding the involvement of Aboriginal peoples in the political system, and each study examines methods by which the objective of equality within this system can best be met.
