During the third round of public hearings, from April to June 1993, the Commission visited 35 communities and held 58 days of hearings throughout Canada. Non-Aboriginal organizations and individuals discussed healing in Aboriginal communities, self-determination,self-sufficiency and the relationship between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people in Canada.
