Triassic gas resources of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin, interior plains : part I: geological play analysis and resource assessment; part II: economic analysis / by T. D. Bird et al.: M42-483E
Part I of this study describes the petroleum geology of Triassic exploration plays, and provides an assessment of remaining natural gas potential. Part II of this study is an economic analysis done by the Energy Sector. It uses information from Part I and applies an investment decision methodology to estimate the quantity of economically recoverable resources. These quantities are estimated using sets of assumptions with regard to technology, costs and future economic conditions.
