Changes in sediment types and invertebrate fauna in the intertidal mudflats of the Bay of Fundy between 1977 and 1994 / by Philippa C. F. Shepherd et al. Issued by the Atlantic Region.CW69-5/237E

In 1977-1979, ten intertidal mudflats in Minas Basin and Chignecto Bay were studied to determine the invertebrate species composition and species' abundances on each flat as well as differences in sediment types (substrate particle sizes) which might account for variations found between mudflats. The same investigations were carried out in 1994 and the findings were compared to the results obtained in 1977-79.--Abstract
