The two main purposes of this project were to: 1) develop and evaluate methods for mapping aquatic habitats using remote sensing; and 2) to describe the relationship between the river discharge and the amount of meso-habitat types (eg. side channels, sloughs, shoals, backwaters, riffles, pools) available.--Study perspective
