The aim of this report was to: (1) assess nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) loading to the Athabasca and Wapiti-Smoky rivers, and (2) evaluate the need to consider groundwater contributions when undertaking simulation modelling of chemical parameters in the Athabasca River during winter.--Introduction
