Youth in transition survey : project overview : MP32-30/00-5E
This document first presents the policy issues that led to the development of the project. It describes the consultations that took place with stakeholders having an interest in youth development and school-work transitions, and summarizes consultation recommendations. It presents a short overview of the objectives of the survey and its design. It presents information about the integration of the 15-year-old cohort with the Programme for International Student Assessment. The content of the survey is described and placed into context through a review existing literature on selected themes relevant to school-work transitions. Examples of possible research questions that could be addressed with data from the survey are presented. An overview of the methodology and implementation of the survey is also provided, as well information on data availability.--Page 2
