Reports on a scientific workshop on the marine mammals of the St. Lawrence Estuary held at the Maurice Lamontagne Institute in April 2000. The purpose of the workshop was to make a scientific assessment of the need for a marine protected area (MPA) in the St. Lawrence Estuary to protect marine mammals, their habitats and their food resources.
