The scientific accountability of Fisheries and Oceans Canada Fish Habitat Management (FHM) decisions relies on a strong link between fish management biologists and fish habitat researcher. This document strengthens this link by identifying, for Fisheries and Oceans Canada Science (DFO-Science), FHM research needs required to support effective and defensible decisions with regard to works or undertakings affecting fishes or fish habitat.
