Study objectives were to advance the understanding and awareness of thresholds or objectives in the management of cumulative effects, and to investigate how best to implement such an approach for the onshore energy sector. The study included a literature review, a stakeholder scan of representatives in the regulatory, resource management, aboriginal, industry, environmental non-profit and academic sectors, as well as a technical workshop.
