A hydrographic survey of the Arctic Ocean’s Canada Basin was conducted during a Joint Ocean Ice Study (JOIS) expedition aboard the CCGS Louis S. St-Laurent. The objective of the program was to investigate ocean circulation, Pacific and Atlantic-origin water mass distributions, storage of freshwater in the Beaufort Gyre, inter-annual variability and the distribution and concentration of bacteria and zooplankton. This report provides a summary of all science activities conducted during the cruise and includes data collected from CTD/rosette casts.
