The Conference on National Approaches to Pharmacare brought together a wide range of stakeholders to explore and discuss the complex issues associated with pharmacare and with exploring national approaches to pharmacare. Participants (approx. 300) attending the conference considered the strengths and weaknesses of current national and international practices relating to pharmaceutical coverage and the management of benefit plans. The conference included presentations on a variety of tools for managing existing programs and discussions around designing a sustainable and effective national pharmacare program
