This document represents one of the milestones in the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Government of Canada, through the Minister of Human Resources Development Canada, and the communities of the national English linguistic minority, on May 29th, 1998... A key component in the organization of this co-operation is the establishment of the National Human Resources Development Committee for the English Linguistic Minority (The National Committee), comprised of representatives from the minority communities (Community Table) and HRDC (Government Table).--Preface
