Climate change and Canada's national park system : a screening level assessment / Edited by Daniel Scott and Roger Suffling; prepared by Adaptation and Impacts Research Group, Meteorological Service of...: En56-155/2000E
In collaboration with Parks Canada, a screening level assessment of the impacts of climate change in Canada's system of national parks and national park reserves was completed. Seasonal climate change scenarios, based on four doubled-CO2 General Circulation Model experiments, were assembled for each national park. Implications for abiotic features, ecosystems, individual species and visitor use of each national park were then examined using national park resource inventories and existing climatological and climate change studies.--Abstract
