Sharing the story : Aboriginal and northern energy experiences - energy efficiency and renewable energy : R2-259/2003E
This report profiles recent renewable energy and energy efficiency projects undertaken by Aboriginal and northern communities across Canada. Projects vary from small hydro, wind power, and solar energy to energy-efficient housing and heat waste recovery. The report is intended to assist and inspire people in these communities—who typically have very high energy costs and are likely to feel the effects of climate change more than people in other locales—in undertaking similar projects.
