This volume is a collection of papers devoted to analyzing the realities of urban Aboriginal people in Canada. The first in a series of thematic publications of proceedings from the Aboriginal Policy Research Conference held in November 2002, it includes papers on Aboriginal mobility and migration in urban Canada, urban residential patterns of Aboriginal people, the marginalization of Aboriginal women in Montreal, educational outcomes of Aboriginal students in British Columbia, and Aboriginal overrepresentation in the criminal justice system.
