This resource provides background information, tips, and tools to complement the recommendations in Canada’s Food Guide — a lay guide that translates the science of nutrition and health into a recommended regimen of healthy eating designed to meet nutrient needs and reduce the risk of obesity and chronic diseases. The resource is intended to be used to write and talk about the importance of eating well, develop or advocate for nutrition policies, and create new tools and resources. Includes a copy of Canada’s Food Guide and a promotional poster.
