HazMat team emergency response manual for Class 7 transport emergencies: CC172-42/2009E

Aims to: provide basic information to hazardous materials (HazMat) responders so they can react expediently and effectively to transport accidents involving radioactive materials; help HazMat responders assess an accident’s severity, so they can make informed decisions on safe cordons and avoid unnecessary closures or evacuations of highways, airports or buildings; act as a general guide for the most common types of calls from HazMat teams to the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission Duty Officer.
