HIV/AIDS Epi update. Chapter 13, : HIV/AIDS in Canada among people from countries where HIV is endemic : HP40-56/13-2012E
Draws together findings from multiple sources to provide an update on the status of HIV and AIDS in Canada among people from countries where HIV is endemic. Specifically, it starts with a summary of the estimated prevalence and incidence of HIV among this population in Canada. In addition, this chapter also presents data from the most recently available routine HIV and AIDS national surveillance data and selected findings from recent research. This chapter concludes with a discussion of the strengths and limitations of existing research and provides a summary of the findings presented.
