Glenn Gould: descriptive catalogue of the Glenn Gould papers: SN3-263/1992
This boxed, two-volume summary of Glenn Gould materials, held by the National Library, was prepared by researcher Ruth Pincoe who organized and classified the papers of one of Canada's foremost musicians. The largest and most important group of materials by and about the pianist, it includes manuscripts of musical compositions, texts for broadcasts and lectures, writings for periodicals and newspapers, correspondence sent and received, clippings of Gould's published writings, articles about Gould, programs and photographs dealing with many aspects of his life and career, and a list of 1,500 audio tapes and 150 video cassettes. Includes discography and selected bibliography. This publication will be of interest to all those who wish to discover more about this outstanding artist.
