Toxic substances management policy : En40-499/1-1995
This booklet sets out an approach to managing the risks associated with substances that enter the environment and that could harm the environment or human health. Incorporating the results of consultations with stakeholders held in the mid-1990s, the policy provides decision-makers with direction and presents a science-based management framework to ensure that federal government programs are consistent with its objectives. Includes figures and tables.
