Gender-based analysis : a guide for policy-making : SW21-16/1996
In 1995, the federal government adopted a policy requiring federal departments and agencies to conduct gender-based analysis of future policies and legislation, where appropriate. This guide is a hands-on working document developed by Status of Women Canada to assist in the implementation of this government-wide policy. It is part of a pilot project designed to begin the implementation of this form of analysis over a period of five years.--Introduction
