Canadian cancer incidence atlas / by N. D. Le et al., Working Group on Geographic Surveillance.: H49-6/1-1996

This series is part of the Enhanced Cancer Surveillance Project, whose goal is to improve the ability of Canadian cancer registries to detect changes in cancer incidence resulting from factors in the environment. The atlas represents the first step in the development of a geographic surveillance system providing data that correlate cancer incidence rates with geographic locations. Volume 1: Canadian Cancer Incidence. This volume, using charts and maps, focuses on the spatial distribution and variation of mortality caused by cancer in Canada and is designed to facilitate the detection of high-risk regions and any general patterns of disease distribution. A must for academics, epidemiologists, bio-statisticians, cancer associations, actuaries and insurance professionals seeking clear, pertinent up-to-date information.
