Science advice for government effectiveness (SAGE) : a report of the Council of Science and Technology Advisors : C2-445/1999
In SAGE, the CSTA offers a set of six key principles for the effective use of science advice in decision-making, recommending that the government employ measures to ensure the quality, integrity and objectivity of its science and technology (S&T). SAGE also presents a series of concrete guidelines to facilitate the adoption of the proposed principles by individual departments and to monitor their effectiveness.
