This study set out to determine whether English-Speaking and French-Speaking Canadians have equal opportunities to reach the highest levels of amateur sport. We therefore examined the structure and history of sport organizations in Canada and, through interviews and a survey of athletes, reviewed whether the present sport system meets athletes' linguistic needs.--Page 3
