Canada's memorandum to the OECD Development Assistance Committee : peer review, 2002: CD4-1/2002

This report on Canada’s development assistance program presents how Canada, through CIDA’s efforts, is meeting the targets of the worldwide Millennium Development Goals while aligning with the priorities of OECD’s Development Assistance Committee. An overview describes Canada’s aid programs, of which sustainable poverty reduction is the principal goal. Detailed submissions are presented on foreign policy; financial management; capacity development (including technology, gender, and environmental issues); global partnerships; public perceptions; procurement policies; and other topics.
