Best practice benchmarking in energy efficiency - Canadian automotive parts industry : M144-68/2005

This report provides an overview of energy consumption and energy drivers of the automotive parts manufacturing industry. It summarizes the results of a benchmarking survey of Canadian companies belonging to the Automotive Parts Manufacturers’ Association and provides a checklist highlighting energy-related best practices in this sector. Responses are organized into three categories —organizational capacity, operational capacity, and technical capacity. Includes two self-evaluation tools for use by organizations in rating their energy management practices.
