Canada's Oceans Action Plan for present and future generations: Fs23-472/2005-1

This report presents Canada’s blueprint for managing its oceans. The Oceans Action Plan is based on four interconnected pillars: international leadership, sovereignty, and security; integrated oceans management for sustainable development; health of the oceans; and ocean science and technology. The plan discusses each pillar and sets out the initiatives planned under each for the first phase of the plan.
