Code of practice on employee training and awareness for rail and urban transit security: T33-26/2011

Provides operators with guidance for developing training and awareness programs for their employees, contractors and relevant stakeholders based on the operator’s security requirements (as determined by their Security Risk Assessment) and measures (as set out in their Security Plan). It also establishes a baseline of recommended best practices for various elements of an effective training and awareness program (e.g., frequency of training, record keeping, etc.).
