Government of Canada response to Listening to Canadians : a first view of the future of the Canada Pension Plan Disability Program: RH4-22/2003E-HTML

This report is the government’s response to the first parliamentary study of the Canada Pension Plan Disability program since the 1980s. After an overview of the federal disability agenda and the program, the report details the government’s response to each of the study’s recommendations, which included expanding coverage and enhancing benefits, improving the application and appeals process, and supporting return-to-work efforts and preventative strategies.
