This report explores the effects that Canada's trade agreements may have on the health of Canadian women. A content analysis of the North American Free Trade Agreement and the General Agreement on Trade in Services shows that Canada's trade obligations may have the power to bring its health care system into the private realm; in addition, future reforms of the public health care system may be more difficult.
