Ontario Trauma Registry 2005 report - major injury in Ontario (includes 2003-2004 data) .: H115-8/2004E-PDF
The Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI), a pan-Canadian independent, non-profit organization, produces this report. It uses the Ontario Trauma Registry Comprehensive Data Set to give a descriptive analysis of patients reporting with trauma to any of 11 major hospitals in Ontario. Cases are selected based on severity of injury and the nature of the cause. The report is intended to enable planning/evaluation of prevention programs, expenditures and legislative changes and help decide how best to use resources and reduce costs.
