Children's participation in humanitarian action : learning from zones of armed conflict : CD4-42/2007E-PDF
Considers the benefits and challenges of pursuing children’s participation in humanitarian action. Its findings and analysis are based upon the study of projects in three different locations: eastern Sri Lanka, the West Bank and Gaza, and Nepal. These projects generally involve adolescents aged 12 to 18 and are supported by international and local organizations. The study also draws upon the observations of informants from academia, donor agencies, and government and non-governmental agencies.
