The objectives of this plan, which spans three fiscal years from 2006 to 2009, are as follows: to provide a solid strategic foundation on which to build a research program for the Canadian Wood Fibre Centre (CWFC); to guide the structural development of the CWFC within Natural Resources Canada’s Canadian Forest Service; and to provide short-term program direction to the CWFC until the emerging directions of FPInnovations, a new public-private sector partnership, can be properly reflected in a longer-term strategic plan.
