Through a $30-million Lake Simcoe Clean-Up Fund (LSCUF), the Government of Canada is helping communities around Lake Simcoe to fight declining water quality in the lake. Environment Canada administers the Fund in consultation with Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, the Province of Ontario and key stakeholders. The Progress Report on the Lake Simcoe Clean-Up Fund 2008-2009 provides information on projects funded through Rounds 1 and 2 of the LSCUF.
