"This resource introduces to students the concept of environmental stewardship and the role of Parks Canada. The module not only teaches the concepts but encourages students to make changes in their own lives. Students who make a commitment and act upon their commitment will receive a Parks Canada certificate and will be considered environmental stewards. This program is designed for grade 7-9 students in Nunavut and is to be delivered by classrom teachers in conjunction with the Diversity and Earth Sciences modules produced by the Department of Education."--Introd., p. 3.
