[Progress report I - Land Force Reserve Restructure]: D3-14/2002E-PDF
This report summarizes the Monitoring Committee's observations on progress made during the first year of the Department of National Defence's militia restructuring initiative. Land Force Reserve Restructure is an initiative to expand the Army Reserves to 18,500 part-time soldiers by 2006. The progress report discusses the results achieved to date in implementing the Fraser recommendations on administration, mobilization and community footprint, conditions of service, transparency and accountability, and consultation and monitoring. In addition to commanding important milestones, it identifies the remaining challenges.
