A Canadian disaster database / by M. Provencher, Evaluation and Analysis. : PS4-188/1991E-PDF
Describes the prototype of the EPC Disaster Database, developed from the Canadian portion of the CRED Disaster Database. The Centre for Research on the Epidemiology of Disasters (CRED) developed a world-wide disaster database which it updated with Canadian information. The Canadian part was isolated and modified to suit the requirements of Emergency Preparedness Canada. To account for the various changes since the reception of the CRED database, it was decided to call this Canadian disaster database: "EPC Disaster Database developed from CRED Disaster Database" with the short form "EPC Disaster Database".
