Overview of federal initiatives in suicide prevention .: HP35-60/2015E-PDF
Suicide prevention in Canada requires a comprehensive approach that works across federal departments and brings together all levels of government in collaboration with researchers, communities and families. This overview of current federal suicide prevention initiatives was created in the context of the development of a federal framework for suicide prevention. The framework will help better align federal activities in suicide prevention, while complementing the important work underway in provinces and territories, Indigenous organizations, non-governmental organizations and communities as well as the private sector.
