d-Phenothrin .: H113-28/2016-5E-PDF

d-Phenothrin is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide used to control a broad range of arthropod pests on a wide variety of sites, including in and around structures as well as indoor and outdoor ornamental plants. This insecticide is also used for flea and tick control. After a re-evaluation of d-phenothrin, Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA), under the authority of the Pest Control Products Act and Regulations, is granting continued registration of products containing d-phenothrin for sale and use in Canada. An evaluation of available scientific information found that products containing d-phenothrin do not present unacceptable risks to human health or the environment when used according to the revised label directions.
